Some time ago the clerk from the Mary Magdalene chapel at Stephansplatz started to act strangely. The rumor is that he sold his soul to the devil and in return was given a spell book. When the misgivings of the clerk were uncovered, he was executed. However just before his death he confessed his sins and returned to the bosom of the Church. He was buried in a cemetery, however since that time strange things started to happen there. Some say that it is the clerk’s soul that is still imprisoned in this world as he did not say where he hid the spell book. Others that it is the devil, angry that the pact was broken is milling about. One way or the other it must be investigated. This spell book can be a valuable resource…

Board Setup
Set Up
While the Envoys of the High Porte split their gang in two, the Defenders of the Crown mostly kept their gang together, only the inconspicious Zagłoba was set up at the flank. The Royal Musketeers set up a strong part near the Envoys, and a smaller part of one hero and two commoners near Zagłoba.
The Game
The Envoys of the High Porte quickly found themselves engaged by both the Royal Musketeers, as well as the Defenders of the Crown, while the Musketeers and the Defenders did not engage; Zagłoba was constantly moving around the smaller part of the Musketeers, but was not recognizable as enemy.
The Envoys quickly started to loose their members.
Longinus the found the documents everyone was after. It was the second attempt, the first of the Envoys had been unsuccessful (see picture).
The Royal Musketeers then tried to reach the Defenders of the Crown, cut down some of their number, but were too slow.
Longinus cut down the commoner in his way, and made his escape off the board.
