I started to paint the witch. Exploring the limited palette painting more, I tried to start with a chromatic black, by mixing green and red. The two tones weren't complementary enough for a black, but still produced a rather dark purple. This I then highlighted with pale yellow.
I liked the effect so much, that I introduced another red to mix with the green, and white.
These are all the colors I used to paint the mini - except for the base.
Also, the higher the resolution of cameras get, the more I see how much I need to refine my layering technique… in real life it looks much smoother…
