Halflings
I first built the Halfling unit.
They were left mostly untouched, I only added a couple cuts and scars here and there; after all these are not happy Mootlanders, but deranged Chaos followers. The cook got a skull and dripping blood on his soup ladle.
Champion
I replaced one sword and repositioned both arms. The head was replaced with the one from the Khorne Chamption model. Still need to sculpt on ears.
Puny Beastmen
On the left is a test model as I first envisaged them. Replacing their bulky arms with skinnier ones. But the effect is not what I hoped for. The whole model still looks pretty solid, and in no way puny.
On the right is a test model following Citizen Sade's suggestion. First, I filled the stomach area with a blob of putty, as it was pretty empty down there. Then I put down a layer for the chests. The rips will remain as they are, hopefully looking like skin stretched thinly over the ripcage.
On the upper arms and knees I tried to add skin flaps. When obese people loose a lot of weight quickly (like after a gastric bypass surgery) the skin will not shrink in the same way, as it was stretched for so long. So these people develop hanging skin flaps. The description of Puny makes me think of such an effect. Will continue to work on the model this evening, when all the putty is dry.
I am open for any more suggestions on these Puny beastmen creation.
