Reign in Hell has an interesting setting (Hell has been cut off from Earth, no more souls, which was the currency of Hell), and all the demons are splintered into factions fighting for different ideas how the future of hell will look like, now that the mights directorate has fallen.
Players have a small gang of demons, a cabal, depending on the faction they choose different types are available. The main demon grunts are the same for all, but the cabal leader and the devout (2nd in command) are specifc to the faction chosen. You can customize your leader with Essences and Relics.
The combat system isn't overly complicated, but allows for tactical depth. The board is also quite small (22" x 30"),
What makes it interesting for me, are the scenarios especially when played in a campaign, where you cabal can grow (or shrink…) depending on the outcomes of the game.
Alas, another game I never actually played, I got a board and one cabal so far… at least one more cabal and some terrain are still required for a game…
