Over on the Oldhammer Forum, the idea came up for a Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay campaign. It is a bit delayed, but that played into my cards, as I did not manage to work on my character's miniature so far.
I choose Drake Whiteraven, Young Mage from Reaper to represent Diethard Waldeck. I mounted him on a metal base from Products for Wargamers.
From the staff, I cut off the top, which I didn't like, it was too fancy for my taste for a wizard's apprentice.
The model came with two hand options, one holding a crystal ball and one shooting a flame. As my character can cast a blue flame (for illumination, not as an attack), I choose the flame shooting hand, but turned it around so the flame pointed upwards. For this I had to resculpt the wrist.
