A rule set from back in the day, the first fantasy wargame i played after starting with Warhammer Fantasy Battles. The game is uses single based models not ranked up, but moved in loose groups; has an alternative activation, which each active model having two actions. Rolls are with done with 1d20.
I remember the games being fun, and I really fondly remember the background and artwork, which really drew me in.
Also, the miniatures have their own style. They did not compare to any other manufacturer to my eyes, having their own proportions and expressions. Today, they look a bit outdated compared to modern minis, but to me they still have much more charm and character than many modern plastic minis.
At some point, I need to re-visit this game…
It is the fantasy counterpart to the SiFi Warzone rules wise, but they don't share a common background.
