I saw this aquarium skull decoration piece on Amazon, and thought - Khorne. Shopping for some more Skulls, I got two sets (1, 2) of larger skulls.
The inside of the skull tunnel is hollow and not modelled.
To change that, I filled the cavities with aluminium foil.
Over the foil added a first layer of air drying clay. Out of experience, fresh air drying clay on air dried clay does not adhere very well, so I carved in some grooves for the second layer to have some grip on the first.
With later storage in mind, I placed the piece besides the Maw Pit and drew the base sizes on a sheet of ePVC in A4 size.
