+++++
Turn 2
+ + 16:09:04 Brother Sergeant Scipio continued his advance, firing his storm

smithereens. He then continued to advance into the corridor to
point 86-My-338.
We are the leading edge of one thousand marines.
+++++
+ + 16:09:34 Brother Bacchus followed his sergeant, bringing the
heavy flamer closer towards the objective room.
We bring death.

Begin the litanies of hatred.

Brother Aeneas, turn towards the closed door!
Brother Sergeant Scipio, advance to point 86-My-339!
Brothers, the enemy are at hand. Summon all your resolve.
+ + + Timer left 1:33

86-Tau-338.
Known enemies advanced up the corridor right up to the door of
room 86-My-334, being closely followed by the new arrivals.
A day to purge our conscience.
+++++
+ + 16:10:52 In front of the Marine squad, the two contacts split. One
advanced to 86-Iota-343 and opened the door to corner section
86-Iota-341. The other moved into the intersection 86-Iota-347 and
went into position at its entrance 86-Kappa-347.
Prayer and striving, Brothers.
+++++
Turn 3
+ + 16:12:05 Fearless, Brother Sergeant Scipio advanced towards the
enemy.
Avengement approaches.
+++++
+ + 16:12:12 Brother Bacchus advanced to point 86-My-341, turned 90°
and unleashed the cleansing flames of his weapon into the corner
section 86-Iota-341 to block the Genestealer's advance.
Purge our honour. Cleanse and burn.
+++++
+ + 16:13:28 Brother Remus followed Brother Bacchus and stayed in touch
with him.
Brother Bacchus got the order from the Captain to turn 90°.
We seek vindication.
+++++
+ + 16:13:35 Brother Cassius copied Brother Bacchus' maneuvre and kept
up with him, but he turned around upon the order of the Captain to
cover towards the rear.
This is vendetta, none must flinch.
+++++
+ + 16:14:21 Brother Aeneas opened up on the door he was facing, and
destroyed it with his second salvo. The blip showing on the
sensorium turned out to be a single Genestealer.
The enemy was quickly killed with a third salvo.
This opened line of sight to the next blip on showing on the
sensorium, which turned out to be three Genestealers!
Brother Aeneas fired a fourth salvo, but missed.
Our duty, to kill. We serve it well.
+ + + Timer left 0:00
+++++
+ + 16:15:30 The sensorium showed more enemy reinforcements in
86-Ypsilon-345.
The Genestealer on point 86-Rho-334 sprinted towards Brother
Aeneas, and cut him to pieces (2, 5, 5 rolled vs. 1).
We mourn our dead Brothers. Theirs is no disgrace.
The two Genestealers behind followed, advancing into the corridor
running the length of 86-My.
Our enemy face humanity's axe.
+++++
+ + 16:16:22 The blip in 86-Kappa-347 turned out the be 3
Genestealers.
The first assaulted Brother Sergeant Scipio and sliced him in
half (2, 4, 5 rolled vs. 2+1), then moved right in front of
Brother Bacchus.
The scene of our reprisal is set. We are the avengers. Nemesis.
+++++
+ + 16:16:41 All other Genestealers advanced towards the Marines.
Let us seize our honour's reprieve.
+++++
Turn 4
+ + 16:16:36 Brother Bacchus turned, moved up the corridor to
86-Kappa-341, then advanced diagonally to 86-Iota-342. This
disclosed the blip around the corner to be 3 Genestealers. As
Brother Bacchus occupied one of the squares the Genestealers would
deploy to, only two were placed.
Under order of his Captain, Brother Bacchus then turned 90° and
set section 86-Iota-344 ablaze. Both Genestealers died in the
flames.
We pray these creatures feel pain.
+++++
+ + 16:19:13 Brother Remus advanced while firing his storm bolter,
killing the nearest Genestealer.
Our moment of retribution approaches.
He then remained stationary and killed the next Genestealer with
the second shot.
Prayers of vengeance steel our souls.
With sure aim, he killed the last Genestealer in sight with his
next salvo.
And they shall know no fear.
+++++
+ + 16:20:02 Brother Cassius also opened up with his storm bolter, and
killed the two Genestealers in sight with two salvoes, thus
avenging Brother Aeneas' death.
Beholden to our honour, prepare for death.

+ + More reinforcements poured through point 86-Ypsilon-346.
Fear not your enemies. Loathe them instead.
The blip in 86-Omikron-347 turned out to be one Genestealer only,
which revealed itself, passed line of sight of Brother Remus
(who was not able to react), and positioned itself in 86-Iota-346
to block the path of Brother Bacchus and his heavy flamer - or at
least force the Marine to use up his valuable ammunition.
Our foes await our cleansing fury. Our people's soul scream for
vengeance.
The freshly arrived blip advanced to the position the first
Genestealer had started from.
Our enemy is at hand. We shall continue. We shall succeed.
+++++
Turn 5

the Captain.
The hour of victory is at hand. We must cleanse this ship. We will
prevail.
+++++

overwatch.
We shall be victorious. We shall overcome.
Finally, Brother Bacchus advanced under the order of the Captain.
Expect heavy resistance. The Emperor demands success, and we shall
not fail.

The one in front advanced, attacked and killed Brother Remus (2,
3, 6 rolled vs. 4).
They are blessed who die for humanity.
The freshly arrived blip moved into the intersection 86-My-347.
We can but strive to succeed, even when, in striving, we shall die.
+++++
+ + 16:15:31 The Genestealer in room 86-My-334 assaulted Brother
Cassius, who, being on overwatch, applied defenive fire as a
reaction. Unfortunately, on his second shot his storm bolter
jammed.
Others shall carry on, and we shall not be shamed.
When the Genestealer arrived at Brother Cassius' position, he
despatched of him quickly (3, 3, 6 rolled vs. 2).
Our Brothers shall be vindicated. Their sacrifice shall not be in
vain.
+++++
Turn 6
+ + 16:27:03 Bacchus advanced towards the objective room, then turned
around on the order of his Captain, and set the junction
86-Iota-347 ablaze to prevent any Genestealer from following him.
Death to the Genestealers. Glory to the Emperor. Vengeance shall be ours.
+ + + Timer left 1:54

Foe closing in rapidly on several vectors. Speed is essential if
we are to succeed.
+++++
Turn 7
+ + 16:28:34 Brother Bacchus used his second to last flamer shot to
set the junction 86-Iota-347 ablaze again, then turned around
and advanced towards the objective room under the urging of the
Captain.
Defeat will not be tolerated. The Emperor watches over us.
+ + + Timer left 1:37
+++++
+ + 16:29:58 the reinforcements entering the sector point 86-Eta-353
were endless.
Success is imperative!
The fire was preventing the Genestealers to close with Brother
Bacchus, though.
The enemy faces death unknowing.
+++++
Turn 8
+ + 16:31:03 For the Emperor and our people - we shall succeed.
Brother Bacchus advanced, opened the door and set the objective
room at 86-Beta-347 on fire.
Glory to the Emperor.
Beholden to our honour, prepare for death.
+++++
+ + 16:31:07 Connection to Brother Bacchus lost. End of transmission.
Death to the Genestealers. Glory to the Emperor. Vengeance shall
be ours.
Status unknown, Brother Bacchus missing in action.
We shall laugh at death together.
No rescue teams available. Brother Bacchus' fate lies in his own
hands.
Let us fight His Battles, as He fights the Battle at the End of
Time.
And let us join Him there, for Duty ends not in Death.
Loyalty is its own reward.
