After six evenings all the models had their flash removed.
The spears had cast shafts, which can easily be bent. To prevent future accidents while using the miniatures in a game, I replaced the shafts with brass rod. In most cases I managed to insert it centered in the tips…
To hide the duplicate models, I did some weapon changes by using some Warhammer Empire weapons, and swapping others between the Mirliton models.
I mounted the horses on the metal bases (the front row on temporary ones until I can restock the cavalry bases), and the riders on bent-into-shape paper clips.
