After I painted the colored spots (using Google picture search as reference), all the harness, saddle and saddle bags were painted in 70.871 Leather Brown.
All the brown was then washed with Secret Weapon Wash 002 Heavy Body Black. This formed the basis for all the other colors applied, everywhere he black washed brown was kept as the darkest shadow.
When adding the pigment spots as well as the leather, bag, etc. colors, I followed alternating patters of horizontal, vertical and diagonal lines through the models; ever on the quest to get no duplciate color combinations.
