As the trolls in the last two games suffered way too often from stupidity, I needed some willpower booster for them. Since I read the battle report The Battle of Iron Peak (Warhammer Armies 4e Orcs & Goblins and White Dwarf 159 (UK), can't remember where I saw it first) I wanted to have a Goblin hero on giant spider — but I never got one.
With access to a 3d printer this long dream finally got true. I choose an stl by Cult Miniatures, which also goes well with the Battle for Skull Pass spider riders featured earlier.
After a primer of white,
I painted the mini in one evening, after all I only applied some base colors. It was really difficult to withstand the urge to paint and properly highlight all the little details the model offers, but this is a quick painting project…
After painting I glued the rider on top, and covered the whole model in quickshade.
