Airbrush time. All models where primed in Molotow black.
With Liquitex white ink I applied a zenithal highlight. Only with the hounds, I reversed it, painting them lighter on their undersides and keeping the top dark. The idea is to give them an unearthly, daemonic glow from within, which 'cools' towards the top.
For the actual glow colors I used green and yellow ink, the lighter yellow as the lightest and lowest color, the green bledning the yellow and black.
The same I did with dark blue and turquoise.
And dark blue and red.
Also the beastmasters got some basic colours airbrushed.
Once the undersides of the dogs had been airbrushed, I mounted them onto their bases.
The wires were then covered with brown stuff; both the blend them visually with the base, as well as providing a stronger bond.
