The wings and belly used the same base tone (the belly starting from a darker one; both being highlighted differently), and look too much alike for my liking. So I appylied an oil filter over the wings, get them look a bit more leathery. For that I used a thin coat of Winsor & Newton Burnt Sienna with a bit of Winsor & Newton Magenta added.
The flag was glued the rest of the way with the basing glue, the wraps around the pole with tiny drops of superglue, where they did not conform to the form of the pole.
I did the rest of the base cover, then drenched the bases and the flag in AK Interactive Gravel and sand Fixer.
